Dev Log #2 (Sep.19 - Sep.25)

We changed our game into first-person perspective, which allows players to see the world through the eyes of the character. This change enhances the emotional connection to the gameplay, making every encounter feel more personal and intense. A first-person view allows us to tell our story in a more intimate way. Players will experience events and environments directly, fostering a deeper understanding of the narrative and its characters.

Basic movement to control the character using WASD. By clicking the "E" key you can pick up stuffs.

We have implemented a dialogue system which enables players to interact with NPCs. Left click to start the dialogue and click again to proceed to the next line. When the dialogue finished you can click again to close it.

We have implemented an UI interface which enables player to check their sticker inventory as well as the sketchbook. By pressing the spacebar to open the UI interface and press it again to close it and return to the game world. After collect those stickers, player can open the UI interface to drag and drop the stickers into their correct position. If one sticker has been placed into a wrong position, an error message will pop up. Placing the correct sticker into correct spot will successfully complete the task.
